church live streaming
By DHPro
Online church is here to stay.
Since the onset of COVID-19 in early 2020, live-streaming has been a vital tool for churches to stay connected. Even before the pandemic, churches have been streaming to YouTube and other platforms in order to extend their reach, and provide those who have to miss a week an opportunity to receive their 'daily bread.' The reality is the need for churches to have an online presence isn't going anywhere... if anything, it's expanding. DHPro can help!
Professional live-streaming can be a daunting, highly-technical, and expensive endeavor. However, at DHPro we've simplified the process. We believe that, with the right gear, and the right know-how, attaining professional live-stream results is possible for anyone.

Live-streaming can be simple.
Live-streaming setups for churches consist of 4 main components:
1. The Camera
2. The Audio
3. The Graphics
4. The Broadcast
1. The Camera
2. The Audio
3. The Graphics
4. The Broadcast
THE CAMERA:
Whether a single angle, or multiple, a quality camera is the first step to a quality live-stream. DHPro will help you select the right camera (or cameras) for your application. Never worry again whether part of your service is out of view on your stream. |
THE AUDIO:
The audio mix can be achieved in a few ways. Firstly, a traditional mix via an analog or digital console, to an audio interface or streaming interface. This can be from your main FOH console, or from a separate dedicated console. Secondly, a DAW may be used to mix if your church runs a digital console with a built in audio interface. DHPro will help you select the option best suited for your gear list, and for your team. |
THE GRAPHICS:
The graphics computer serves to display lyrics, sermon slides, videos, and other visuals on screens in your auditorium, and will simultaneously reformat and send these graphics to your live stream so that your viewers can follow along. |
THE BROADCAST:
The final broadcast is the end game. Camera angles are switched here, graphics are added here, and the audio is synced with the video feed here. After all these components are strung together, the final broadcast step then streams the complete package out over the internet. DHPro will ensure that your internet connection is sufficient, and that your team has a working knowledge of how to build a great, impactful stream. |
